【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversmaterialsandinstallationproceduresforpolyethyleneencasementtobeappliedtoundergroundinstallationsofductileironpipe.Itmayalsobeusedforpolyethyleneencasementoffittings,valves,andotherappurtenancestoductileironpipesystems.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.2.1ImportantSIvaluesareprovidedinbrackets.Also,certainimportantSIvaluesappearwithoutbracketsorparentheses.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
