【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofyarnnumberupto4000dtex(3600denier)andrelatedvariabilitypropertiesoffilamentandspunyarnsusinganautomatedtesterwithcapabilityformeasuringmassvariabilitycharacteristics.1.2Yarnnumbervariabilitypropertiesincludepercentdensityspread(%DS),coefficientofvariation(%CV),densityfrequencyvariation.Note1Fordeterminationofyarnnumberbyuseofreelandbalance,refertoTestMethodD1907.Foranothermethodofmeasuringvariability(unevenness)inyarn,refertoTestMethodD1425.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareinparentheses.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultininaccuraciesofresults.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
