本规范适用于公称压力小于或等于42MPa的工业金属管道及非金属衬里的工业金属管道的设计。
本规范不适用于下列管道的设计：
1.制造厂成套设计的设备或机器所属的管道；2.核能装置的专用管道；3.长输管道；4.矿井的管道；5.采暖通风与空气调节的管道及非圆形截面的管道；6.地下或室内给排水及消防给水管道；7.泡沫二氧化碳及其他灭火系统的管道。
